Booking

We can be contacted through our website or by telephone to discuss the initial requirements for your vacation. From there, we will work out a customised tour to suit your specific requirements and budget. We will send you a quotation with all the necessary details. All quotation prices are made in euro. You are required to work out the exact currency conversion for your own country.

Should you like to go ahead and book with us, we will require a booking deposit of 20% and payment can be made on the phone by credit card or online through paypal. This deposit will be considered an agreement by you and all persons travelling in your group to our terms & conditions.

Should the booking be for travel commencing within the following 60 days, then full payment is required when booking. Please not that some parts of your tour such as transport or activities may require full payment to be made with the deposit. These are generally non refundable but we will inform you of this in our quotation.

Once the booking deposit is received by us, we will issue a booking invoice. Please read carefully and should you require any changes to be made, please notify us within 48 hours so we can make the necessary adjustments and proceed with confirmations with our service partners. Please note we may not be able to confirm all aspects of itinerary immediately. If there are any necessary changes to be made to the agreed itinerary we will contact you immediately regarding changes.

The remaining balance must be paid in full 60 days prior to travel. If not, we will consider the booking cancelled and specified cancellation fees will apply.

Once full payment is made, an itinerary package will be sent to you.

Changes/ Adjustments

Any changes made are subject to price applicable on date of change not original booking date.

Some activities or transport are non refundable once booked. These will be specified in itinerary.

Prices may increase if number in travelling party is decreased.

No accommodation changes allowed within 14 days of travel and accommodation is subject to availability.

Accommodation & Package inclusions

All self drive packages include accommodation each night, breakfast, car rental and any attraction entrance or activity specified in your itinerary.

All unescorted coach tours include accommodation each night, breakfast as well as any attraction entrance or activity specified in your itinerary.

All chauffeur/escorted tours include accommodation each night, breakfast, specified lunches and dinners listed on your itinerary, guide/driver, guided sightseeing each day and entry to attractions specified on your itinerary.

Most hotels and accommodation providers will require a credit card imprint or a cash deposit as security in case there is any damage done or unpaid room charges. Across Ireland Tours is not responsible for this deposit should it not be refunded. This issue is solely between you and the service provider.

Any accommodation arranged and booked for you must only be used by those named on invoice. No other persons should be allowed to stay there.

Please inform us if you are travelling with an infant as some of our recommended accommodation providers have a “ no children” policy. We will plan your itinerary accordingly to avoid any inconvenience to you. We are not liable for any charge for alternative accommodation should you fail to inform us.

Car Rental

Car rental is included in self-drive packages (car model is not guaranteed). Compulsory insurance, unlimited mileage and breakdown cover is included in car rental fee.

All car rental companies require the main driver to hold a valid driving license for at least 2 years. Drivers must be between 25- 75 years of age. Younger or older drivers will be charged a higher rate. The main driver will also be required to supply a credit card in his/her own name in order to rent the vehicle. This credit card will be used if necessary for any excess or deductible, should the vehicle be damaged. If you wish to add additional drivers, this can be done upon renting for an additional charge per person.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be in writing. The following cancellation charges apply

Up to 15 days prior to arrival – full refund less booking deposit (except for specified non- refundable transport or activities listed in itinerary)

                Less than 15 days prior to arrival – no refund

Refunds

All refunds owed by Across Ireland Tours to clients will be made within 30 days of written cancellation.

Travel Insurance & Liability

-Across Ireland Tours provide a land only service and are not responsible for travel into or out of Ireland. Flights and other travel arrangements prior to commencement and following the end of your tour are the responsibility of the client.

-We are not responsible or liable for any expenses or losses for any cancellations or delays that disrupt your passage. This includes sickness, war, quarantine, weather or acts of God

  • Please ensure that you and all members of your travelling party have adequate medical and travel insurance to cover any medical emergency or passage delays or cancellations. This is a condition of our booking with you

We contract with independent businesses and contractors in securing and booking services and accommodation provided on our tours. We are not responsible for any negligence and/or omissions of these independent businesses/contractors/their employees/agents/services or representatives

Also, in issuing tickets, vouchers or coupons for travel conveyance or transport by any means and in making arrangements for activities, attractions, or accommodation, we are acting only as agents for companies and persons providing these services. We are therefore not liable in respect to person or property, for any loss, damage, injury, accident or delay however sustained or suffered during any trip or tour arranged by said businesses or contractors.
